How to install ATV flash (black) on Apple TV?Īfter jailbreaking, aTV Flash (black) can be easily installed directly from your Mac or PC. Your only option is to buy the 4th generation model. Only the 4th generation (HD) and 4k version of the Apple TV can access the app store: you can’t add apps to a first generation model, and to make matters wors it is now considered obsolete and recent versions of iTunes won’t connect to it (though older ones may). It is a blue rectangle with three white lines in the shape of an “A.” The App store can be moved by holding the Selection button on your remote while hovering over the App Store icon. On Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, the App store should appear in its standard position on the top bar of the home screen. Navigate to the app you wish to download (see below).
